June Post

I'm here in the office waiting for my housemate, M. She went to a seminar and I told her that we should just go home together. It's freezing outside, 13 degrees and windy. I hate this weather.

It's been almost a month sincce my last post. A lot of things have happened but I just couldn't find the time to write.

Thinking back since my last post, I have seen Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Carribean 3. The two movies were good in the "I don't want to think" kind of way. I just wanted to be entertained and that's what I got. I watched Spiderman 3 after my CPA exam, which was actually before my last post (I forgot to write about it). I have since then received my grade from that test. I passed which was a relief to me since I really don't do tests very well. I watched Pirates somewhere before I went to Melbourne. Actually, I watched it on the night of my friend's wedding S in Bora. Since I was sad that I wasn't able to attend I just watched a movie to occupy my mind rather than wish that I was in Boracay with my friends. The wedding was great, as my friends have communicated to me. It's another great event that I have missed.

I went to Melbourne last June 8 till June 11. We went there to celebrate C's hens weekend. We watched Miss Saigon and had a really great time, just us girls. Clubbing, shopping, endless talking and walking. We bought Krispy Kreme doughnuts! We had 4 dozen each and people were looking ay us as if we were crazy. When we got to the airport, we had a different reaction from people there. They were wondering where we bought the doughnuts and wanted to buy some as well. There's no Krispy Kreme here in Brisbane only in Sydney and Melbourne so it was a "big"thing to buy there. We also ate at Max Brenner's which was a big hit to us. I didn't get to go when I went to Manila last, so we kind of went crazy with the chocolate buying. I still haven't finished my stash yet. I'm trying to save it for craving moments.

Work has been crazy busy. My boss and I got sick at alternating times so i got saddled with a bit of extra work. It was good to be busy, it makes the days go faster. Now, I'm done waiting for my housemate. She just called me and said that she went home already. I guess I should go now too.
