Changing Tides

The new year has brought me changes that would take me awhile to digest.
The best news ever is that i have a new job! it's connected to accounting as well (tax and bookkepping), so i'll be able to use what i studied here. hehehe! As a consequence, in about a month's time my finances will be in a better place (meaning out of the red). I could finally pay people who were so kind to help me in my time of need. And maybe if i don't spend too much in the next few months i would be able to go home for a vacation, but it would have to be after the tax season. I'm so looking forward to that!
My personal life is a bit more settled now, meaning I've come to accept where I stand with my father. That was a bit hard for me to get over, but there are some thing that I can't change no matter how much I try. I chat often with my little sister, Jaja. It's good that I could still be a part of her life even if I'm far away. Ain't technology wonderful!
Healthwise, I've been sick during the holidays and the past week leading up to my birthday. However, I'm all better now. I rested well with moderate exercise and healthy food, so it all worked out.
My love life is...... good? I'm sure my friends won't agree with my assessment, but that is how I feel. This situation is all that I can handle right now. I need more time to focus on my career, so this is a good setup. hehehe! All I can really say is that I'm having fun. This will eventually change I'm sure but for now I'll make the most out of this.
I've had time to catch up on all my other friend's blogs. Sometimes I wish that everyone would just have one so that I won't be too behind on the news. As everyone knows writing emails/letters is not an easy habit to get into.
Overall, I'm happy and enjoying my time alone. I hope this continues throughout the year. (my fingers are crossed and so are my legs!)
