general update and some random thoughts

It's been awhile since I posted anything and I'm writing now to tell my friends that I haven't disappeared from the face of the earth.
Updates today-
Went to Moreton Bay this morning to have a picnic and do some sightseeing. Now is a good time to go whale watching but it was a bit too expensive. The weather wasn't cooperating either, it's been dark and rainy today. This afternoon I watched a cheesy tagalog movie "Close to You", I find Bea Alonzo pretty. After that I talked to my friend's mom for almost an hour. She's been like a mom to me and it was good catching up with her.
Updates this past week-
Sept 3 Sunday- I watched "Boy from Oz" with Loren and Ate Girlie. I swear, this was worth every dollor I spent for it. It was funny, heart warming and very entertaining. I think I have a bigger crush on Hugh Jackman now. I slipped on the satirs on that day too.... have this really big bruise on my butt that is still painful to this day.
Monday - Friday was just work and talking to some friends from back home. I have another best friend who's getting married next year. I really hope I can go to her wedding.
State election yesterday. This is what has kept me busy these past 3 weeks. Steve Irwin passed away on Monday and Peter Brock passed away on Friday (I think). These events made a lot of people really sad.
Talked to Karen who's in China for almost 3 hours - it only cost me about $2.00 AUD! Isn't that great!
Updates August- Spent my time trying to adjust to a new job, new place and commuting to work everyday. My new job is good and it's been really busy due to the elections. We produced most of the print and web materials for the Australian Labor Party here in Queensland. It's been really crazy at work. Now, I have to catch up on back log and invoicing.
Updates July - I quit my old job and started a new one mid-july. I moved out of our house in the Gold Coast and I'm now living in Brisbane. I'm sharing a house with Ate Girlie and her son. She still doesn't live here with me yet. She only stays here during the weekends because her son is still studying in the Gold Coast and her job is still there too. Our house is now for sale. I still miss it but I guess it's about time that I grow up and try to be independent.

Some pertinent details- I now work for a company called ToadShow. I know it's a weird name but it's really great. you can check out what we do at www.toadshow.com.au
I've changed my postal address and home number. Will email that detail to people who need to know where I live. My cellphone number is still is the same.

Some random thoughts -
1. Politics in whatever country is almost all the same. Politicians whatever color still resort to the same tactics.
2. Plans can change in a matter of minutes, especially when it's not expected. Sometimes I wonder what the point is... but it makes life exciting.
3. Stupidity is something that I have little tolerance for..... and it seems like I will have no tolerance for it at all in a couple of years.
4. Friends are a real blessing .... I feel sad people who don't have any.

Some future plans
1. I might go home next year, but that is still tentative.
2. Hopefully, I will finish the CPA Program in 3 years.

Okay, that's all I have for now. My head is starting to hurt.
