Chasing Time

My first blog in September! How time flies...... feels like I'm continuously chasing it. There are so many things to do that I get tired just thinking about it!. There are days when I want a day to last longer so that I could get all things done, especially when I'm in a good mood and productive. There are days that I want it shortened so that I could finally go on my holiday.
There are a lot of things to be done, and I wouldn't enjoy my holiday if I don't finish it before I go. So I'm really hoping I get a burst of extra energy (think Energizer) in the next few weeks so that I leave with a clear conscience.
I've been reading through my blog and some movies have already been taken out my movie list.
Sin City, in my opinion, wasn't so bad. The people I watched it with didn't like it too much. For me, it was a comic book come to life. Interesting and strange all at the same time. There are times that watching something different is a pleasure that can't be beat.
Wedding Crashers was ok. It was the kind of movie that would make you laugh because you're glad that the embarassing things happening to the characters are not happening to you. Rachel McAdams is turning out to be a good actress. She's been gaining popularity since Mean Girls. I must say she still has a long, good career ahead of her.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was really good. It was funny, heart warming, creepy and disturbing. Johnny Depp is really a good actor. No matter what character he plays he makes you forget that he's portraying a role.
Monster-in-law was normal. It had no effect on me whatsoever. There was only one scene where I laughed and at this moment I can't even remember what scene it was. All I remember from watching this movie was that Jane Fonda still looks hot for her age! She was gorgeous. Of course all the clothes she wore were all flattering to her figure, but she was able to carry it off so well!
I've been watching some DVD's as well. Finding Neverland was beautiful. Kate Winslet has redeemed herself (in my opinion) since she made Titanic (3 hours of my life I would never get back!).
Harry Potter just gets darker every year. And I end up being more disappointed in Harry's character every time. All the same, I'm still looking forward to all the movies and books that are to come out in the future.
Life is becoming more interesting lately. Probably because I'm so impatient to go on my holiday and there's a skip in my heart whenever I think about it. So excited! The only thing I'm not really looking forward to is when I have to get my teeth extracted. Oh well! Have to be practical too. Getting it done here is too expensive so I have to sacrifice some fun time and eating time for it.
