Socializing

It's now 10:30am on a sunday morning and i've already cleaned my house and taken a shower. I've been so busy lately that i haven't had the time to write. The past 3 weeks have been pretty busy with work, but last week i was busy with work and meeting up with people. M and G just got back from manila, so we've been catching up and going out. I also had to help G move her stuff to her new place and go shopping with her to get some more house things. Going out shopping with someone is really bad, since i end up spending as well. I've been a naughty girl because i haven't been saving up.
Last Thusrday I met some more pinoys in brisbane and we had dinner there and a really good time. They had sinigang, daing and halo-halo. I haven't really had that in a long while, which makes me more excited to go home. My friends here are all telling me that my mind is already in manila, but I really can't help it. Four years is a really long time.
Friday G and I went to IKEA to do some home furnishing shopping. I ended up buying a wok and stool! hahaha! I'm sure I'll be able to use those. Then we met up with L and went to the supermarket where we ended up with 2 carts. We had Indian food for dinner and went to the park on the swing and really had a nice conversation.
Yesterday, I went to the city to meet up with some friends I made while working in sales. We went to a club where the crowd was mostly "oldies". They were even playing the Ghostbuster song much to the amusement of G and M. It was the Valley after that where we couldn't get in to any clubs bacause they wouldn't allow sneakers in. We ended up having Kebabs and then going home.
Past 4 nights have been really exhausting and I have some pending work to do for my meeting tomorrow. Hope I finish it all today and get some sleep as well. I have to get up early tomorrow to pick up someone from the airport then off to work I go. I hope this coming week is more restful than the last.

Sounds like you need a holiday, somewhere really quite. It's great catching up with old friends, but hey you only live once and my rule is to party like there is no tomorrow. ;)
